Heating And Cooling
Finnish sauna
Our sauna room has three wooden benches. Each of the ascending benches represents a temperature level (60°C -95°C). The humidity of approximately 10-30% can be quickly increased by a sauna infusion with water or essential oils.
Steam bath
The steam bath with starry sky, granite banks and pleasant fragrances has a temperature between 40°C and 55°C with a humidity of 80-100%. The typical steam bath climate is obtained by releasing oversaturated water steam using a boiler.
Caldarium & Tepidarium
These two radiant heated baths with low humidity are merged into a big room at the Aquella. Relaxing temperatures of 50°C at the Caldarium and 40°C at the Tepidarium show their regenerating effect at an average stay of 30 minutes.
Infrared cabin
This is a type of sweat bath where the participants are exposed to hot infrared rays only. Participants can enjoy the pleasant radiant heat for 15 to 20 minutes.
Salarium (salt sauna)
Through atomizing brine the natural salt water is sprayed inside the cabin with compressed air. The aerosols, salt walls and a brine fountain create near-marine conditions. The cabin temperature is approximately 45°C which allows staying for 20 to 30 minutes.
Splash showers & plunge pool outside
Saunas train your cardio-circulatory system with the change of heat and cold. Especially in winter the outdoor area has its charm. In front of our two outdoor saunas, the plunge pool and splash showers give the healthy 'kick' after perspiration.
Footbath & plunge pool inside
Inside there is also a plunge pool. For cooling off between perspiration periods, you can enjoy a relaxing footbath and use the time for a chat.
